FACE OF THE FUTURE: Matilda's CLAY THOMSON

Fansies and The Revolting Children already know who this guy is.  Heaven knows the fans of Newsies and Matilda are fervent in their love of the casts of these shows!  In this case, though, they are 100% right to have their eye on this guy!  Clay Thomson made his national debut in the tour of West Side Story, and made his Broadway debut as Spot Conlon in Newsies, and currently pulls double duty in Matilda as a swing and the gym captain (the "physical education" scene is pretty... athletic and dangerous looking to me).  And how appropriate that Broadway's Big Glasses Queen, the great Elaine Stritch, is retiring and being replaced just in time!  Of course, his boyish face and huge smile might get him noticed.  But I'm willing to bet that his talents will allow him a long Broadway career!
